These are the resources that I use online.  Please keep checking back as I will always add more to the list if I find other valuable resources.  Please note that some of these links may be affiliate links, which means that I may get a commission if you purchase through my link, but you will be getting them at a much better price than if you go directly to their website.  Plus, these things rock!  Check them out and see if they help you as much as they have helped me.  Enjoy.

Articles

  • Ezine Articles – Ezine Articles is a great site to submit unique articles.  They prefer that if you submit an article to them, that it is unique content and not used elsewhere.
  • Article Snatch – This is a great place to grab articles to add content that you find helpful.

Directories

  •  Get Listed – This is a MUST. This site has the very basic citation sites such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, Four Square and more.  There roughly 10 plus sites here, a very good start.
  • UBL – This is a pay siet but has hundreds of citation sites.  Definitely something you should think about over time.

Domains

  • Blue Host – This is a great place to buy and host your domains.  These guys have fantastic customer support and you can host as many domains as you want provided you pay a low yearly fee.
  • Host Gator – Great place to get good value for domains.
  • Name Cheap – These guys offer great pricing and they hide your ownership information for the first year free.  This is something they charge money for after the first year.
  • Go Daddy – Here is another great  place  to get your domains.

Follow Up

  •  A Weber – Here is a very widely used autoresponder with tons of email templates.
  • I Contact – These guys one of the newer kids on the block but they are heavily used because they advertise heavily.  Plus it is a good product.
  • Get Response – Another  great choice for autoresponder and widely used, liked and accepted.
  • Instant Customer – In my opinion, this is the most powerful follow up tool for follow up.  It is much more than an autoresponder.  You can send texts, email, voice messages, videos , and even physical mail with this powerful tool.  It costs roughly $100.00 per month but I use it as my main tool for anthing to do with following up.
  • Eye Jot – This is a cool little video program where you can send out a quick “thank you” video or the like to anyone you want to send a quick video.  The unique thing about this is not many people do this so you will stand out from other people.
  • Send Out Cards -This is a great little system.  This is another paid program where you can quickly make a personalized card for anyone that you need to.  The price of the card will be a fraction of what you will pay for a Hallmark card in the department stores, and it’s personalized.  Super cool.

Keyword Research

  •  Google Keyword Tool – Very powerful free tool.   Type in a keyword and it will tell you the number of searches for that word.
  • Market Samurai – This has been around for years.  This tool is a paid aid program that tells you everything you want to know about a keyword.  It is truly a great tool to have in the tool box.
  • Alexa – This website tells you the rank of any website you ask it to search.

Lead Capture

  •  Instant Customer – Already talked about this in the follow up section.  This is something I use daily and totally makes owning this tool totally worth it.  This program offers templates in a variety of formats so that you can receive people’s information for a website, QR code, phone number and more.   This allows any business to build a list.  Every business needs to build their own list.

Password Help

  •  Roboform – I would be lost without this little tool.  No longer do I have notebooks everywhere to search and find my keywords.  When you have lots of passwords, not only with this save you time but it will allow you to keep your sanity.

PR

QR

  •  QR Stuff – For anything to do with QR codes go here.

Social Media

  •  Linked In – If you have a business you need to be on LinkedIn to communicate with other business people.
  • Facebook – This is now another almost industry standard.
  • You Tube -The Second Largest search engine behind Google.  If you are doing video you need to have a YouTube account.  Know this, everybody needs to be doing video
  • Twitter – Hugely popular to give brief updates and status reports.
  • Pinterest -One of the latest social media sites to take but definitely not the last. This one involves “pinning “pictures up and passing them around.

Text Messages

  •  Instant Customer – Like I said before, this tool does it all.  It fills a multitude of roles.  Pretty much a one stop shop.

Video

  • You Tube – Get your youtube account!
  • HeySpread – Pay as you go video submission site.
  • TubeMogul – This is a site where you pay when people actually view your videos, but you can really target where your video will be seen.
  • Traffic Geyser – This tool is made by the Instant Customer product I have already mentioned so many times.  This tool preceded Instant Customer and deals only with video.  The training and support are very good.

Virtual Office

  • O Desk – Definitely look into finding some people on O Desk.
  • Elance – Another wonderful place to find great people to get projects you need done properly and on time.
